The Toronto Blue Jays have continued their aggressive pursuit of top talent, signing free agent starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman to a 3-year contract.
Hoffman, a 6-foot-5 right-hander who has spent the past several seasons in the Colorado Rockies’ organization, brings a wealth of experience and a strong arm to the Blue Jays’ rotation. While his overall numbers have been somewhat inconsistent in recent years, the team’s front office and coaching staff believe that Hoffman has the potential to be a valuable contributor to the team’s pitching staff.
