After several years of falling short of the required vote threshold, the former first baseman and four-time All-Star was finally given his due, with his stellar career statistics and impact on the game finally being acknowledged by the voters.
Bagwell’s 15-year career with the Astros saw him amass 449 home runs, 1,529 RBIs, and a lifetime batting average of .297.
